Srinagar, May 7 (KNO):Hajj Committee of India (HCI) member Er Aijaz Hussain among others today attended two-day training session of Khudam-ul-Hujaj at Mumbai.
Official sources told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that Er Ajiaz shared the dias with top dignitaries that include Union Minister for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, who spoke about various reforms taken by Government with regard to Hajj.
“Naqvi also apprised that whole Hajj process has been digitised and this year there are around 50 per cent women going for Hajj and around 1800 females will go for Hajj without Mehrum,” Officials privy to the meeting told KNO.
They said that digital Health card , E-Masiha health facilities and E-Luggage pre tagging providing all information regarding accommodation/ transportation in Makkah-Madina will be provided to al Haj Pilgrims.
“In two days program 400 Khadim Ul Hujjaj including 12 females from all across the country participated,” the officials said. Er Aijaz told KNO that attending the conference was a great experience as he learned a lot about Hajj and fresh guidelines and initiatives taken by the Saudi regime for ensuring smooth pilgrimage.
